Qualifications and experience
- Provides functional leadership to secure Commercial capacity and capabilities to deliver volume and turnover objectives.
- Optimally organize the Sales Teams to ensure effective management of all customers, and delivery of the Companies’ sales objectives through those customers.
- He/she develops the Commercial Department functional capability, to improve business with all customers through effective deployment of the Company’s brand strategies at retail, and to deliver the annual sales targets.
- Key activities are strategy development and deployment, building organization capability through training and coaching, management of Commercial human resources.
- Sets directions for his/her Sales Organization, identifies and solves critical systemic problems related to the business, organizations.
- He/she is responsible to build solid relations with customers. Frequent top to top contacts are required for ensuring that key customers strategies are aligned and reflected into joint business plans.
- Represents the Company in front of the customers, industry associations and external stakeholders for all commercial and business decisions.
- Analyses business opportunities and recommends actions (trade investment, coverage, new projects.)
- Leads the development and nurtures a winning culture within the Commercial organization.
- Ensure that the organization design and structure are competitive and highly productive by recommending the appropriate changes in design and manpower.
- Develop a highly capable CBD organization: set hiring, training and rewarding processes to attract, maintain and develop best talents.
Required qualities
- A degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or other comparable education.
- Previous direct work experience in FMCG and/or Business Development areas.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Sales management and distribution.
- Successful proven track record in a commercial managerial role.
- Fluent in French and English.
